Molly Katzman, Instructor
Molly Katzman found dancing at Nevada City School of the Arts at the age of 10, and then went on to dance all four years in high school in the Nevada Union theatrical dance program. She attended Goucher College in Baltimore for a year as a dance major, but decided to move back to California and live Santa Cruz. Molly attended Cabrillo College for two years where she became part of the Santa Cruz dance community, and won the Roberta Bristol award in 2009. Molly has choreographed for the Cabrillo dance concerts and for the emerging choreographers showcase in 2009. She has danced for local choreographers such as Cat Willis and Cid Pearlman, and she has now been dancing for Flex dance company, directed by Leslie Johnson, for a couple years. Molly began teaching at Santa Cruz Dance Company in 2010, and has been teaching ever since.
