Zari Le’on is a performer, educator and choreographer.  Zari has been on faculty at University of Michigan and Mills College and has taught master classes and workshops at Middlebury College, Scripps College and University of San Francisco.  Zari has danced with Robert Henry Johnson, Leyya Tawil’s Dance Elixir, Nora Chipaumire, Culture Shock, Newstylemotherlode and Rennie Harris.  After choreographing for Keyshia Cole and the Punany Poets, Zari formed Zari Le’on Dance Theater in 2003 and has produced and performed in the Bay Area and beyond.
