I have been teaching Pilates for many years now. I became involved with the Stott Pilates Teaching Method which breaks down the Pilates exercises into Essential Basics,Intermediate and Advanced forms. In that studied and careful approach to Pilates, students learn on a gradient. I have taught Ashtonga Yoga for 20 years as well as Water Aerobics for the last 25 years. My background also involves a Black Belt in Karate. I have lived in Santa Cruz for 30 years,raising my twin daughters in the same house that they were born in. My other interests include rowing sculls in Monterey Bay,growing orchids, and flailing around the golf course!
