Eli Weinberg, Instructor
Eli Weinberg began his gymnastics training at age five and competed as a men's gymnast
for six years. His movement training ranges from modern and contemporary dance to
Butoh to Kalaripayattu, an ancient martial art practiced in Kerala, India. He has acted
with Chilean collective "Teatro Errante," danced under Berlin based choreographer
Sommer Ulrickson and worked with such figures as Rodrigo "Leon" Pino and Tandy
Beal. You perhaps saw him recently perform as an oversized "baby" in Tandy
Beal's "Mixed Nutz." He currently dances with Flex Dance Company under Leslie
Johnson. Eli is thrilled to be teaching this summer's Acrobatics course with the help of
accomplished women's gymnast, Chelsea Moreno.
