How to Register
1. Choose classes – Click here for the Summer Class Schedule or Fall Class Schedule. Also See Our Class Prerequisite/Corequisite Chart.
2. Review our registration form/ Policies and Procedures – Be sure to keep a copy for yourself. Many questions throughout the year can be answered by reviewing our policies. If you are registering online you do not need to print or sign a copy for the studio. Only for On Site registration.
3. Review our Class Fees Below.
4. You may register online for our Summer/Fall program by clicking here.
5. You may also pay by Cash, Check or Charge in person at the studio. If you choose to register on site in the studio please print and sign the Registration/Policies and Procedure and bring the day you come to register.
Class Fees
Registration Fee:
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $35/Individuals or $50/Family.
Fees are due each year in the Fall. Students beginning class mid-year ar required to pay the full fee
at the time of enrollment. Fee waived in the Summer.
Class Fees for All Teen / Adult Classes
Teen / Adult Drop In Class - $13 - Registration fee not required for Drop in.
Ten Pass Offer
for New ADULT Students Only $50 for 10 classes, good for 60 days. Registration fee not required for 10-pass.
This pass is offered as an incentive for new students to try a variety of classes.
Limited to new students who have had no previous passes with Motion Pacific.
This offer is also limited to one pass per person, please.
Adult Classes are offered by Drop-In or Monthly Tuition.
monthly tuition reduces the cost of class as low as $7 per class. Annual registration fee applicable to monthly students. Note: Drop-In fees will increase to $13 as of Jan 4th 2010 . |

Classes
All Adult Classes are geared toward beginning, advanced beginning, intermediate or advanced levels. Please consult with your instructor or a director to ensure proper placement in classes. We have your best health and educational interest in mind when considering student placement. Remember that you are the best judge of your own physical limits --- please modify exercise as you fee is appropriate.
Schedule is subject to change without notice. Instructors may vary. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. There will be no refunds or credits for missed classes or classes with sub teacher. Please arrive promptly to class to avoid missing important warm-ups. Students arriving late may not be permitted to take class.
Class Attire
Shoes
Street shoes may be worn for some classes. Please do not wear them off the street and into the studio as they track in water and gravel which damages the floors. Instead, carry them separately and change shoes before class. Dansneakers are ok, no black–soled tennis shoe or boots. Please refrain from wearing loose jewelry or heavy perfume.
Specific Class Requirements
Hip Hop Breaking and Hip Hop Funk : A loose t-shirt and pants, and clean, dry tennis shoes. Bring knee pads for any breakdancing.
Bellydance : Leotard or sports top for women, leggings or elastic waist loose skirt or pants plus hip scarf. Finger cymbals and veils for Wednesday class.
Ballet : Leotards and tights, skirts, leg warmers, sweat pants, and t-shirts are all appropriate, as long as they aren't too loose or baggy. Ballet shoes are required. Long hair should be pulled away from the face and neck.
Jazz : T-shirts, leotards, jazz or sweat pants are preferred. Jazz shoes recommended.
Tap : Black, low heeled tap shoes. No high heels, please. (Yes, you may try your first class in tennis shoes.)
Acrobatics : Girls: leotard and shorts, sport bra if needed, hair away from face. Boys: gym shorts, briefs, and t-shirt.
Membership / Tuition Policies
Late Tuition, Missed Classes & Returned Checks: Adult Tuition is due before taking class. A fee of $8 will be added to payments received after the student’s class. Unused Classes on a class card Expire at the end of the 45 days. Kids Tuition must be paid in full by the first day of class or a deposit of 50% and payment arrangements made. Accounts left delinquent will result in a student being restricted from class and performance participation. There will be no refunds or credits for missed classes or late drops. A charge of $15 will be applied to all returned checks. All Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian fill out and sign the registion form before their first class. All Students must check in at the front desk before each class. |
